April 25, 2025 — Today, during the Open Day event of the National Intellectual Property Awareness Week 2025, our firm, TDIP, was invited to participate as a representative of the intellectual property service industry. The event, themed "Getting Closer to Intellectual Property," attracted numerous representatives from innovative entities, university faculty and students, media journalists, and relevant departments.
The event commenced promptly at 9:00 AM in the multifunctional hall on the 12th floor of Building No. 2 at the Jimenqiao office area of the National Intellectual Property Administration. In his opening speech, Director Shen Changyu emphasized the importance of intellectual property protection in promoting technological innovation and economic development and extended his best wishes for this Open Day event. Subsequently, typical cases of annual administrative protection of intellectual property, top ten annual patent reexamination invalidation cases, and typical cases of annual trademark opposition review were announced on-site, providing valuable learning materials for attendees.
To enhance interactivity and engagement during the event, the organizers specially arranged sub-session presentations where each sub-session conducted a one-minute showcase via video conferencing system. Additionally, representatives from well-known technology companies in the field of artificial intelligence were invited to give advocacy speeches sharing their experiences and insights on intellectual property protection while calling on all sectors of society to pay attention to and support the development of intellectual property initiatives.
The second segment of the event included a variety of tours and interactive projects. Attendees were guided by volunteers to visit exhibitions showcasing achievements in building a strong intellectual property nation, literature halls, cultural exhibition halls for intellectual property, examination departments, acceptance halls, oral hearing courts, etc. This segment not only allowed participants to gain close-up insights into the practical operational processes at the Intellectual Property Administration but also deepened public awareness regarding the importance of intellectual property protection.
