Work Experience:

Mr. SHI specializes in patent prosecution and patent portfolio development for domestic and foreign clients, representing clients in patent re-examination, patentability search and advising clients on patentability, etc. He took part in many cases of re-examination and validation of patents on behalf of domestic and foreign Pharmaceutical plants, such as Henan TOPFOND Pharmaceutical, and Merk.

Before joining TDIP & Partners, he worked as a patent examiner in SIPO where he took part in the examination skills' training. So, he is fairly familiar with patent search, relevant procedure, steps and requirements of patent examination. Prior to that, he ever worked in two entities, one is Material Research Center of Dept. of Science (BUAA) where he was a senior engineer and filed two patent applications, another is Beijing Shida ink Co., Ltd where he organized and fulfilled the development of three new products: "Spray-painting Ink", "environmental soybean printing ink" and "Web Offset Heat Set Ink".
