Overview:

Mr. Xiuchuan HONG studied at School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering and his second Bachelor of Arts (Japanese). After graduation, he immediately joined Beijing East IP Ltd., which is the starting of his IP career.

Mr. Xiuchuan HONG then joined China Science Patent & Trademark Agent Ltd.. From December 2005 to February 2017, as a partner and a team leader at China Science, he handled a large number of cases for Japanese Enterprises such as Panasonic, Sanyo, Hitachi, Honda, and Mitsubishi and so on. He has rich practical experiences in patent prosecution, office action, patent re-examination, and invalidation etc. and especially is very good at handling the cases in fields of Consumer Electronics and Automobile.

In 2014, Mr. Xiuchuan HONG went to AOYAMA & PARTNERS at Osaka, Japan to study Japanese Patent Laws and patent practices. During the days in Japan, he lectured extensively on Chinese patent practices and communicated with Japanese Law Firms and Japanese Enterprises face to face for many times on their specific cases. His superb expertise won him the clients’ recognition and trust.
